Learn to Skate/Learn to Play
Allston Brighton Youth Hockey's Learn to Skate and Learn to Play programs run weekly on Saturday mornings at Reilly Memorial Rink at Cleveland Circle. The Learn-to-Play hockey program will be run concurrently and will be available for attendees that the Learn-to-Skate instructors determine are ready to participate. Generally this means attendees who can skate forwards, backwards and stop. Attendees do not need to participate in Learn-to-Play and can remain with Learn-to-Skate for the season if they prefer.
Ages
Learn to Skate is available to participants with 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 birthyears.
Learn to Play is available to participants with 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 birth years.
When
The LTS and LTP programs occur on Saturday mornings from 11:30am to 12:15pm beginning October 7 and ending March 9.
Where
Reilly Memorial Skating Rink @ Cleveland Circle.
Required Equipment
Learn to Skate participants must have their own skate and HECC approved Hockey Helmet with facemask.
Learn to Play participants must have their own skates, a HECC approved Hockey Helmet and full hockey pads. The first 25 Allston Brighton residents to register receive free hockey pads (helmet and skates NOT included).

Registration for Learn to Skate and Learn to Play Hockey will open in July for programs beginning in October.
