Squirts: 2016/17 Birthyears

Peewees: 2014/15 Birthyears

For Squirts and Peewees, the season begins in early Sept and runs through the end of March or early April.

Practices/skills are held at Warrior Ice Arena, Reilly, Harvard or Walter Brown (BU) depending on age group and ice availability.

Games for most teams are within 30-45 minutes of Brighton.

Teams will have a minimum of one team practice and one skills session per week, typically on a weeknight. Additional practices may be scheduled depending on ice availability.

Most games are on Saturdays or Sundays. Players can expect 1-2 games per weekend (usually 1).

Uniforms and gear can be ordered through ABYH's online team store through a third party provider. Notification of the store opening and ordering deadlines will be sent by early to mid-May. Players new to ABYH or playing their first year on a Travel team must have their number approved prior to ordering their jersey.

ABYH does not supply personal player equipment such as helmets, sticks, pads, skates, etc.

ABYH participates in the annual Mayor's Cup Tournament hosted by the City of Boston between mid-December and early January. Tournament fees are included in tuition.

ABYH teams may also participate in one away (drivable) tournament at the coach's and program's discretion. Tournament fees are included in tuition. Travel fees, if any, must be covered by the player.

ABYH is committed to keeping tuition costs low and does significant fundraising through Allston and Brighton businesses, organizations and institutions. Tryout fees are applied to the fees below. As such, we have two tuition tiers:

Squirts and Peewees

Allston or Brighton Resident -- $1200 + equipment fee*

Non-Resident -- $1500 + equipment fee*

Goalies

Full-time goalies receive a 50% tuition discount when accepting an offer.

*A $45 program equipment fee is added to all tuitions and will appear as part of the down payment when accepting an offer.
