U8 Girls: 2016, 2017, 2018 Birthyears

The season begins in early Sept with practices and runs through the end of March.

Practices/skills are held at Warrior Ice Arena, Reilly, Harvard or Walter Brown (BU) depending on age group and ice availability.

Beginning in September, both Mites and U8 Girls can expect 1 skills session and 1 practice during the week. Additionally, teams will practice Saturday mornings until games begin in November. When games begin, the Mites will maintain their Saturday practice while the girls play their Saturday morning games.

Mites play all games on Sunday mornings beginning in November in Hyde Park.

U8 Girls also play games on Sunday mornings beginning in November in Hyde Park. Additionally, the U8 Girls team plays games on Saturday mornings at Reilly beginning in November.

Jersey's are provided for the Town Line League games. ABYH also lends game jersey's to players at this level for the U8 Girls Saturday morning games as well as the Mayor's Cup for all players.

Additional ABYH gear can be purchased through the team store.

ABYH participates in the annual Mayor's Cup Tournament hosted by the City of Boston between mid-December and early January. Tournament fees are included in tuition.

ABYH Mite and U8 Girls teams may also participate in a local tournament at the coach's and program's discretion. Tournament fees are included in tuition.

ABYH is committed to keeping tuition costs low and does significant fundraising through Allston and Brighton businesses, organizations and institutions. As such, we have two tuition tiers which includes a small program equipment cost:
